Ebro Delta
The Ebro Delta is the largest wetland area in Catalonia, covering an area of 320 km2. Is one of the most important aquatic habitat of the western Mediterranean. The balance between natural wealth and exploitation by man has never been easier, so in 1983, the Government of Catalonia approved the creation of the Ebro Delta, which occupies the regions of Montsià (right hemidelta) and Bajo Ebro (hemidelta left).
